In Saturday's non-league outing, the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Chesapeake, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA), by a count of 82-50.

The Spartans (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Franklin County (Carnesville, GA). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, Franklin County was crushed by Greenville (Greenville, SC), 69-42, in a non-league outing.
