Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Phillips Wildcats (Chicago, IL), 74-67 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Richwoods upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Knights travel to College Achieve (Asbury Park, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Wildcats play the Springfield Southeast Spartans (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 27. Phillips will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 65-53 league loss to Lanphier (Springfield, IL).
