December 23, 2023: Seaside, CA 93955 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Scotts Valley Falcons (Scotts Valley, CA) and the host Seaside Spartans (Seaside, CA), saw Scotts Valley's basketball squad hold off Seaside by a tally of 43-40.
With the victory, Scotts Valley improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Falcons host Oak Grove (San Jose, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Spartans play the Soledad Aztecs (Soledad, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Seaside will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Aztecs come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 67-20 non-league loss to Marina (Marina, CA).
