Ohio High School Basketball - Avon tops Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin
December 23, 2023: Chardon, OH 44024 Avon Eagles (Avon, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions (Chardon, OH), 41-31 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Avon upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Highland (Medina, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 29. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 2-2.
Next up, the Lions play the University School Preppers (Hunting Valley, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
