Kentucky High School Basketball - Blazer can't hold off Anderson County
December 23, 2023: Lawrenceburg, KY 40342 The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Blazer Tomcats to 55 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bearcats now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nelson County for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. Anderson County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 81-51 non-league win over East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-5.
The Tomcats (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cooper (Union, KY). The Jaguars come into the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Cooper edged Meade County (Brandenburg, KY), 59-42, in a non-league contest.
