Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kennedy Fighting Irish (La Palma, CA) and the visiting Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), saw Kennedy's basketball squad hold off Banning by a count of 43-40.

With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Southeast Career Tech (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Roadrunners in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 28. The Roadrunners come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Southeast Career Tech lost 48-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Durango (Las Vegas, NV)

Next up, the Pilots play the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Banning will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 58-21 non-league win over Bush (Seattle, WA).
