Maine High School Basketball - Sacopee Valley overwhelms Boothbay
December 23, 2023: Cornish, ME 04041 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) and the visiting Boothbay Seahawks (Boothbay Harbor, ME), saw Sacopee Valley's basketball squad wallop Boothbay by a tally of 42-21.
With the victory, Sacopee Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hawks host Poland (Poland, ME) to confront the Knights in a C South challenge on Friday, December 29. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 1-3. Poland lost 44-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Leavitt (Turner, ME)
Next up, the Seahawks confront the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Boothbay will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Flyers come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 21-11 non-league win over Traip (Kittery, ME).
