Michigan High School Basketball - Dakota fells Ferndale

December 23, 2023: Ferndale, MI 48220

Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ferndale Eagles (Ferndale, MI), 60-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dakota upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Cougars host Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI) to play the Eagles in a Macomb Area - Red bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Eagles play the Pioneer Pioneers (Ann Arbor, MI) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 28. Ferndale will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 63-33 non-league loss to Perrysburg (Perrysburg, OH).
