Missouri High School Basketball - Verona topped by Hollister
December 23, 2023: Verona, MO 65769 The Hollister Tigers basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host Verona Wildcats to 34 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Aurora for a Big 8 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Hollister will battle a Houn Dawgs team coming off a 65-59 league win over Logan-Rogersville (Rogersville, MO). The Houn Dawgs record now stands at 7-0.
The Wildcats (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 7-2 record.
