Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IN), 49-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Silver Creek upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Dragons host Salem (Salem, IN) to clash with the Lions in a Mid-Southern bout on Saturday, January 6. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-10.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Vincennes Lincoln Alices (Vincennes, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Princeton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Alices go into the bout with a 7-8 record after their 38-31 non-league win over Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN).
