December 23, 2023: East Haven, CT 06513 The East Haven Yellowjackets trounced the visiting New Milford Green Wave ice hockey squad by a count of 6-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
With the victory, East Haven moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Hand (Madison, CT) to face the Tigers in a Southern Connecticut - DII bout on Wednesday, December 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Hand lost 6-1 in their recent league bout against West Haven (West Haven, CT)
The Green Wave now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Southington/Coginchaug/Westbrook for a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 27. New Milford will face a Knights squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Knights record now stands at 0-1.
