Hawaii High School Basketball - 'Aiea triumphant over Wai'anae
December 23, 2024: Wai'anae, HI 96792 The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the 'Aiea Na Alii ('Aiea, HI) and the host Wai'anae Seariders (Wai'anae, HI), observed 'Aiea's basketball team overwhelm Wai'anae by a score of 74-34.
The Na Alii (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Pearl City (Pearl City, HI). The Chargers come into the Oahu - West I challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Pearl City was routed by West Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 46-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Seariders encounter the Nanakuli Golden Hawks (Waianae, HI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Wai'anae will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 81-39 non-league win over Waialua (Waialua, HI).
