December 23, 2024: Essex Junction, VT 05452 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) and the host Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT), observed Hartford's basketball team knock off Essex by a score of 58-47.
The Hurricanes (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Burr & Burton dropped by Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT), 77-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, December 27. Essex will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Seahorses come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 80-56 league win over South Burlington (South Burlington, VT).
