New York High School Basketball - Waterford-Halfmoon knocks off Hudson Ridge
December 23, 2024: Waterford, NY 12188 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians (Waterford, NY) and the visiting Hudson Ridge Thunder Chicken (Albany, NY), observed Waterford-Halfmoon's basketball team overcome Hudson Ridge by a score of 63-54.
The Fordians (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Mechanicville (Mechanicville, NY). The Red Raiders come into the Section 2 Wasaren - B challenge with a 3-2 record.
In their next game, the Thunder Chicken battle the Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Hudson Ridge will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 77-45 non-league loss to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT).
