Ohio High School Basketball - Waynedale defeats Madison Comprehensive
December 23, 2024: Apple Creek, OH 44606 The Waynedale Golden Bears (Apple Creek, OH) basketball were winner over the visiting Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH), 52-37 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Golden Bears now possess a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Chippewa for a Wayne County bout on Saturday, December 28. Waynedale will play a Chipps team coming off a 45-43 non-league loss to Laurel (Shaker Heights, OH). The Chipps record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Madison Comprehensive falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Rams host Lexington (Lexington, OH) to play the Minutemen in a Ohio Cardinal bout on Saturday, December 28. The Minutemen go into the bout with a record of 3-5. Lexington won 49-34 in their recent league bout against Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH)
