Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Flanagan-Cornell Falcons (Flanagan, IL), 63-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Reed-Custer upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Comets travel to Wilmington (Wilmington, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Wilmington won 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against Putnam County (Granville, IL)
