Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Saguaro Sabercats (Scottsdale, AZ), saw Mountain Pointe's basketball squad wallop Saguaro by a tally of 87-66.

With the victory, Mountain Pointe improves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Pride host Tucson High Magnet School (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Badgers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Tucson High Magnet School won 54-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Chandler (Chandler, AZ)
