Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tunkhannock can't hold off Northwest Area
December 26, 2022: Shickshinny, PA 18655 The Northwest Area Rangers basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Tunkhannock Tigers to 54 in the Rangers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rangers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia Montour Vo-Tech for a Midd-Penn contest on Wednesday, January 4.
The Tigers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hazleton Area (Hazleton, PA). The Cougars enter the Wyoming Valley 1 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Hazleton Area nudged Liberty (Bethlehem, PA), 55-53, in a non-league contest.
