The Cheboygan Chiefs basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Inland Lakes Bulldogs to 40 in the Chiefs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Chiefs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grayling for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Cheboygan will meet a Vikings team coming off a 51-48 non-league loss to Ogemaw Heights (West Branch, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-3.

The Bulldogs (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Mancelona (Mancelona, MI). The Ironmen enter the Ski-Valley contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Mancelona was defeated by East Jordan (East Jordan, MI), 66-40, in a non-league contest.
