The Stallions now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Deshler for a non-league battle on Wednesday, December 27. South Lamar will confront a Tigers team coming off a 77-60 non-league win over Elkmont (Elkmont, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 8-8.
The Indians (9-5) will now prepare for their battle against Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Phillips was toppled by Belgreen (Russellville, AL), 65-31, in a league battle.
