Illinois High School Basketball - Edinburg ripped by West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs]
December 26, 2023: Edinburg, IL 62531 The West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Edinburg Wildcats to 37 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pleasant Hill for a Western Illinois Valley contest on Tuesday, January 2.
The Wildcats (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-City (Buffalo, IL). The Tornadoes enter the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Tri-City was routed by Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia (Concord, IL), 59-46, in a non-league contest.
