The New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD) basketball felled the host Kenwood Bluebirds (Baltimore, MD), 71-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The (6-12) will now prepare for their test against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD). The Screamin' Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Seneca Valley thwarted Loch Raven (Towson, MD), 60-42, in a non-league test.

The Bluebirds now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dunbar for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 27. Kenwood will encounter a Poets squad coming off a 74-48 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD). The Poets record now stands at 3-1.
