California High School Basketball - Cabrillo overwhelmed by La Mirada
December 26, 2023: La Mirada, CA 90638 The La Mirada Matadores basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Cabrillo Jaguars to 32 in the Matadores non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Matadores now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Santa Ana Valley for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 28. La Mirada will battle a Falcons team coming off a 43-36 non-league loss to Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 6-6.
The Jaguars (7-9) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Santa Ana Valley was routed by Loara (Anaheim, CA), 41-31, in a non-league contest.
