Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) and the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), saw Western Alamance's basketball squad hold off Pinecrest by a tally of 55-52.

With the victory, Western Alamance improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Green Level (Cary, NC) to confront the Gators in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 7-1.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Apex Friendship Patriots (Apex, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Pinecrest will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
