December 26, 2023: Woodland Hills, CA 91364 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Simi Valley Pioneers (Simi Valley, CA) and the host Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA), saw Simi Valley's basketball squad overcome Taft by a tally of 63-47.
With the victory, Simi Valley improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-4. Oaks Christian won 82-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA)
Next up, the Toreadors confront the Moorpark Musketeers (Moorpark, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 28. Taft will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Musketeers come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 48-44 non-league win over Heritage Christian (Northridge, CA).
