December 26, 2024: Arlington, TX 76013 Arlington Colts (Arlington, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting South Hills Scorpions (Fort Worth, TX), 57-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Arlington upgrades its record to 8-10 on the year. The Colts host South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) to face the Warriors in a 6A Region I District 8 match on Tuesday, December 31. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 10-9. South Grand Prairie won 59-49 in their recent non-league match against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX)
The Scorpions now sport a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington Heights for a 5A Region I District 7 match on Friday, January 3. South Hills will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 75-43 league win over Polytechnic (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 11-9.
