Lake Region Thunder (Eagle Lake, FL) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Brandon Academy Scorpions (Brandon, FL), 47-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lake Region advances its record to 2-10 on the year. The Thunder travel to Seminole (Sanford, FL) to face the Seminoles in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Seminoles enter the match with a record of 4-7. Seminole lost 65-54 in their recent non-league match against Viera (Viera, FL)

The Scorpions now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kathleen for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Brandon Academy will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 72-40 non-league loss to Discovery (Lake Alfred, FL). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-7.
