Illinois High School Basketball - Sandwich holds off Hinckley-Big Rock
December 26, 2024: Sandwich, IL 60548 The Sandwich Indians basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Hinckley-Big Rock Royals to 53 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Indians now have a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Morris for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Sandwich will confront a Redskins team coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Marmion (Aurora, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Hinckley-Big Rock falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Royals travel to Pecatonica (Pecatonica, IL) to confront the Indians in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2.
