In Thursday's non-league test, the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC), by a final score of 65-44.

Next, the Pride clash with the Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke test, on Friday, January 3. KIPP Pride will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 79-60 league win over Rocky Mount Prep (Rocky Mount, NC).
