The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the JW North Huskies (Riverside, CA) and the visiting Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA), observed JW North's basketball team overcome Ponderosa by a margin of 58-46.

The Huskies (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-6 record. In their last challenge, Lakewood dropped by Long Beach Poly (Long Beach, CA), 63-42, in a league challenge.
