New Hampshire High School Basketball - Keene defeats St. Thomas Aquinas
December 26, 2024: Keene, NH 03431 The Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) basketball were winner over the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Saints (Dover, NH), 52-44 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Blackbirds now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Nashua South for a Division I bout on Friday, January 3. Keene will play a Purple Panthers team coming off a 65-57 league win over Timberlane (Plaistow, NH). The Purple Panthers record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, St. Thomas Aquinas falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Inter-Lakes (Meredith, NH) to play the Lakers in a Division III bout on Friday, January 3. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Inter-Lakes lost 55-51 in their recent league bout against Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH)
