The Mercer Island Islanders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots to 48 in the Islanders non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Islanders now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Corona del Mar for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Mercer Island will confront a Sea Kings team coming off a 49-48 non-league loss to Camarillo (Camarillo, CA). The Sea Kings record now stands at 12-2.
