California High School Basketball - Montgomery bests Poly

December 26, 2024: San Diego, CA 92154

The Montgomery Aztecs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Poly Bears to 42 in the Aztecs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Aztecs now possess a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to JSerra Catholic for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Montgomery will play a Lions team coming off a 70-49 non-league win over Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA). The Lions record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Poly falls to 9-5 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Rancho Verde (Moreno Valley, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Ivy game on Tuesday, January 7. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 11-3. Rancho Verde won 59-41 in their recent non-league game against Branson (Ross, CA)
