Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), 75-53 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Sanderson advances its record to 9-2 on the year. The Spartans travel to Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 8-3. Chapel Hill won 83-78 in their recent non-league match against Roosevelt (Washington, DC)

The Hawks now own a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Triton will play a Roughriders team coming off a 79-61 non-league win over Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Roughriders record now stands at 8-3.
