In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Fontana Steelers basketball team scored a close 45-41 triumph over the Apple Valley Sun Devils.

The Steelers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ramona (Riverside, CA). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 11-1 record. In their last contest, Ramona nipped Canyon Springs (Moreno Valley, CA), 57-40, in a non-league contest.
