Virginia High School Basketball - Green Run can't hold off Manor
December 26, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23453 Manor Mustangs (Portsmouth, VA) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Green Run Stallions (Virginia Beach, VA), 36-33 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Manor advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-1. King's Fork won 57-27 in their recent non-league match against Grafton (Yorktown, VA)
The Stallions now own a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grafton for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Green Run will face a Clippers squad coming off a 55-39 league win over New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Clippers record now stands at 5-0.
