Texas High School Basketball - Joshua trounced by Westlake
December 26, 2024: Austin, TX 78746 Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Joshua Owls (Joshua, TX), 82-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Westlake advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Chaparrals travel to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX) to face the Blue Hawks in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Blue Hawks enter the match with a record of 10-7. Rock Hill lost 47-29 in their recent non-league match against Sunnyvale (Sunnyvale, TX)
The Owls now own a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mansfield Summit for a 5A Region I District 8 match on Friday, January 3. Joshua will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 56-37 league win over Centennial (Burleson, TX). The Jaguars record now stands at 14-3.
