Hawaii High School Basketball - Kalaheo toppled by Kailua
December 26, 2024: Kailua, HI 96734 Kailua Surfriders (Kailua, HI) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Kalaheo Mustangs (Kailua, HI), 63-48 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Kailua advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Surfriders travel to Castle (Kaneohe, HI) to face the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Knights enter the match with a record of 4-3. Castle lost 30-26 in their recent non-league match against Farrington (Honolulu, HI)
The Mustangs now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kahuku for a non-league match on Saturday, December 28. Kalaheo will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 72-24 non-league win over McKinley (Honolulu, HI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 6-5.
