Rhode Island High School Ice Hockey - West Warwick holds off Burrillville
December 26, 2024: West Warwick, RI 02893 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host West Warwick Wizards ice hockey team scored a close 7-6 victory over the Burrillville Broncos.
The Wizards (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers go into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, East Greenwich was nipped by North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI), 5-2, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Broncos play the Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Burrillville will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Clippers go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 8-3 non-league loss to Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI).
