New Jersey High School Ice Hockey - Pope John XXIII holds off Ramapo
December 26, 2024: Sparta, NJ 07871 In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Pope John XXIII ice hockey team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Ramapo Raiders.
The (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Passaic County Tech edged Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Raiders now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Randolph for a non-league battle on Friday, December 27. Ramapo will confront a Rams squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Westfield (Westfield, NJ). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
