California High School Basketball - Elk Grove holds off Johnson
December 26, 2024: Sacramento, CA 95820 In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Elk Grove Thundering Herd basketball team scored a close 53-46 triumph over the Johnson Warriors.
The Thundering Herd (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wood (Vacaville, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Wood nipped Grant (Sacramento, CA), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Chavez Titans (Stockton, CA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Johnson will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
