In Monday's non-league match, the host Covina Colts basketball team scored a good 57-47 triumph over the Poly Parrots.

In their next game, the Colts meet the Northview Vikings (Covina, CA) in a Valle Vista match, on Wednesday, January 5. Covina will attempt to move on its 5-9 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 9-7 record after their 53-50 non-league loss to Pomona (Pomona, CA).
