Illinois High School Basketball - Fulton overwhelms Stark County
December 27, 2021: Toulon, IL 61483 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL) and the host Stark County Rebels (Toulon, IL), saw Fulton's basketball squad wallop Stark County by a tally of 70-42.
With the victory, Fulton improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Steamers travel to Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL) to confront the Storm in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 7-4. Bureau Valley lost 72-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Princeville Princes (Princeville, IL) in a Lincoln Trail challenge, on Tuesday, January 4. Stark County will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Princes come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 55-23 non-league loss to Midland (Varna, IL).
