Connecticut High School Basketball - Staples knocked off by Immaculate
December 27, 2021: Danbury, CT 06810 The Immaculate Mustangs basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Staples Wreckers to 50 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Monday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pomperaug for a Southwest contest on Wednesday, December 29. Immaculate will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-62 non-league loss to Edwin O. Smith (Storrs, CT). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Wreckers (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Stratford (Stratford, CT). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Stratford ran past Morgan (Clinton, CT), 68-52, in a non-league contest.
