Illinois High School Basketball - Leo topples Naperville North
December 27, 2021: Naperville, IL 60563 In Monday's non-league outing, the Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) basketball squad beat the host Naperville North Huskies (Naperville, IL), by a count of 50-37.
The Lions (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last challenge, Batavia toppled Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL), 73-70, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Huskies play the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 28. Naperville North will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 63-55 non-league loss to Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL).
