Georgia High School Basketball - Vidalia nudges Pierce County
December 27, 2021: Vidalia, GA 30474 Vidalia Indians (Vidalia, GA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA), 63-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Vidalia upgrades its record to 11-1 on the season. The Indians host Long County (Ludowici, GA) to clash with the Blue Tide in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 28. The Blue Tide go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Long County lost 78-65 in their recent non-league bout against Glynn Academy (Brunswick, GA)
Next up, the Bears clash with the Emanuel County Institute Bulldogs (Twin City, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Pierce County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 86-50 non-league loss to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).
