New York High School Basketball - Avoca Central fells Genesee Valley
December 27, 2021: Avoca, NY 14809 Avoca Central Tigers (Avoca, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Genesee Valley Jaguars (Belmont, NY), 33-23 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Avoca Central upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Tigers host Gananda Central (Walworth, NY) to play the Blue Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 28. The Blue Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Gananda Central won 70-9 in their recent non-league bout against Wayland-Cohocton (Wayland, NY)
Next up, the Jaguars play the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines (Bolivar, NY) in a Section 5 Allegany County I bout, on Thursday, January 6. Genesee Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
