Arkansas High School Basketball - Siloam Springs holds off Elkins
December 27, 2021: Elkins, AR 72727 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Siloam Springs Panthers (Siloam Springs, AR) and the host Elkins Elks (Elkins, AR), saw Siloam Springs's basketball squad hold off Elkins by a tally of 37-31.
With the victory, Siloam Springs improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gravette (Gravette, AR) to confront the Lions in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 28. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Gravette lost 44-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Dewey (Dewey, OK)
Next up, the Elks confront the Greenland Pirates (Greenland, AR) in a 3A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 25. Elkins will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
