Maryland High School Basketball - Frederick fells Jefferson
December 27, 2021: Frederick, MD 21701 Frederick Cadets (Frederick, MD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV), 71-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Frederick upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cadets travel to Urbana (Ijamsville, MD) to play the Hawks in a bout on Tuesday, January 11. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-0.
Next up, the Cougars play the Smithsburg Leopards (Smithsburg, MD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Jefferson will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record.
