California High School Basketball - Alhambra nips Channel Islands
December 27, 2022: Alhambra, CA 91801 Alhambra Moors (Alhambra, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA), 52-50 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Alhambra upgrades its record to 9-4 on the season. The Moors host Bell Gardens (Bell Gardens, CA) to confront the Lancers in a Almont challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Bell Gardens lost 61-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Claremont (Claremont, CA)
Next up, the Raiders confront the Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Channel Islands will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Conquerors come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 56-55 non-league win over Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).
